Installation tips
***IMPORTANT NOTE: There are no longer any sensor fittings included in the exhaust kit, they are completely removed with the tune***
-Support the transmission and remove the transmission crossmember to remove the original exhaust without cutting it.
-Access to one of the bolts on the downpipe flange is quite difficult. We’ve found that a combination of long wobble extensions will allow access to the offending nut through the wheel well.
-There will be 2 rubber hoses left hanging after the DPF is removed. These, along with all unused sensor connectors can simply be tied up, out of the way.
-We typically pack unused electrical connectors with grease to avoid corrosion in the event that you ever return the vehicle to stock.
Usual install time is less than 2 hours.
