What does "Special Ordered" mean?

This means that we do not have the product in our warehouse. We only order “Special Order” products from the supplier when you order them from us. Generally, we do not intend to keep an inventory of these items.

“Special Order” products could be shipped directly from the supplier or they could be shipped to us first. Then, we would ship it to you. The available shipping options will be provided during the checkout process."

BMS ECU or TCU map for use with the EK1 flashing system.

BMS ECU back end flash maps:

We've got pretty solid JB4 back end flash maps developed now. Changes include revised air/fuel targets and scalar mapping for more consistent fueling, rescaling some annoyance limp mode limiters like turbine speed or boost too high, revised calculated torque for improved shifting, increasing shift timing for firmer shifts, and of course bumping up ignition advance for more power. With the BEF loaded you continue to use the JB4 maps as normal for determining how aggressive you want to run, boost by gear changes, etc. This gives you the best of both worlds. All the functionality and on the fly map changes a JB4 offers with the additional tuning tables a flash offers!

RACE: Ignition advance set to around 17 degrees peak, AFR around 11.9:1 at peak HP, suggested for those running good quality 93 octane up through 30% E85. Typically cars that are not running CPI.

RACE_IGN: Similar to RACE but ignition advance has been raised to 19 degrees peak, suitable for aggressive WMI applications running 93-E30.

E85 IGN19: Ignition advance set for around 19 degrees peak, AFR around 12.4:1 at peak HP, suggested for those running E40+. 40% E85 can be run on the factory hardware but for higher mixtures require CPI, WMI, or our HPFP.

All maps feature 9 degree minimum shift timing, and burble maps include exhaust burble in sport mode only. Note BMS complies with all emissions regulations and will not remove or disable any emissions equipment or monitor, so don't bother asking.

BMS TCU Map:

Shift points optimized for tuned stock turbo performance (1-4 around 5900rpm, 5th around 6300rpm for 60-130 runs), shift pressures increased for quicker shifts and reduced transmission wear.

For models where applicable to launch use brake boost method: press brake down, press gas pedal to desired engine RPM/launch strength, release brake pedal, floor gas pedal. If this method won't work on your calibration we suggest our brake boost switch.

Process for loading:

1) Order your EK1Lite here: https://burgertuning.com/products/ek1-mini2-by-sxth
2) Ensure the EK1 has the latest firmware from https://ek1tuning.com/ which allows it to handle EKR files. Note if you have EKP files previously purchased from SXTH those can be converted to the new EKR format on ek1s site.
3) Purchase your ECU and TCU maps from our store here: https://burgertuning.com/products/st...gital-download
4) After purchase you will be receive an email asking for your calibration, EK1 serial number, and the last six if your vehicle VIN. Reply with that information and we will prepare and email your EKR file(s).
5) Copy the EKR file to your EK1 and with your ignition fully on, engine off, select "write" to flash the appropriate module. Note patching is no longer required with EKR files.
6) Note BMS does not provide original files and the new format only allows you to read your ECU/TCU application ID (calibration) but not the full file. So you can not generate your own original with their new system.
7) Note the EK1 "ECU read cable" used to read out ECU/TCU data is NOT required unless you have some unique calibration that EK1 has not seen before.

Video of how to lookup your ECU or TCU application ID (calibration):

TCU: Module is named "CPTSH2.08.1" and application data ID (calibration) will looks like SIK0T33NH0 or TCK0T33NB0 for example.
ECU: Module is named "Siemens SIMM2L 260" and application data ID (calibration) will look like IPNNDMNZ_N2A, CEMO3TMW_R0A, or CKKO3TM__G0A for example.
