Installation note: In order for the valve to work, you will need an aftermarket charge tube so the vacuum hose for the valve can be connected to function correctly.
Boost value opens at 6-7 psi. When cruising at/under 5 psi, the valve is closed and give you that comfortable ride at cruising speed.
Factory heat shield will need to be trimmed or removed to install the exhaust. It is recommended that the heat shield is left in place and trimmed around the actuator valve. Our installed photo shows the trimming around the actuator valve. Some customers prefer the look of no heat shield.
