This lower heatshield bracket is required for mounting the GrimmSpeed Turbo Heatshield for all turbo EJ platforms, including the 2004-21 STI, 2002-14 WRX, 2004-08 Forester XT and 05-09 Legacy GT. These models all come with this bracket from the factory, but they can break down over time and may need to be replaced.
