The NEUSPEED short shift kit easily installs onto the transmission's selector shaft. The NEUSPEED short shift kit reduces the throw length between gears by approximately 40% - this is the absolute maximum reduction possible without overextending the cable mechanism.

The NEUSPEED short shift kit incorporates a calibrated counterweight which is required for more positive shift action.

This is a complete bolt-on application - no cable adjustment required.

Notes:

Fits: VW GTI MK V, Jetta V, Passat (B6) 2005-06.5 with 6-Speed manual transmission and large pin stud cable mount. For 2006 split originally equipped with OEM shifter lever #1K0 711 051 J use this kit.
