The Lava Hot Rod Sleeve by Heatshield Products can protect fuel, transmission, and oil lines from excessive heat damage. Lava Hot Rod Sleeve combines the best of two worlds, the original Hot Rod Sleeve with the added strength of lava rock fiber. These heat sleeves are strong but very flexible. The special braiding allows the inside diameter to expand and contract up to 15% of its nominal size. The 1 foot length kits include 4 heat shrink to seal the ends of the sleeve. Installation is easy. Simply slide over the line or hose. Use the included heat shrink to ?seal the end of the sleeve. Remember a loose-fitting sleeve is okay if the ends are sealed to prevent heat from getting trapped between the sleeve and the component it is protecting.
