Product Description
This kit comprises of four silicone hoses, developed specifically for the VW Golf MK8 GTI & Golf R, and the Audi S3 8Y or vehicles that share the same VAG platform and engine codes. These hoses will withstand greater temperatures and pressures enabling higher boost pressures to be run on tuned engines and giving the end user peace of mind and ensuring they will not split or fatigue when pushed to the limits, the quality of the hose kit are second to none and also enhance the look of your engine bay.
The hoses in question have both muffler hoses included for either the Golf GTI with engine code DNP or the Golf R with the engine code DNF, depending on which application these are being fitted to one hose will be left redundant and not fitted.
- Hose #2033 will fit the intercooler LHS and replaces the OEM hose 5WA-145834
- Hose #2034 will fit the intercooler RHS and replaces the OEM hose 5WA-145832
- Hose #2035 will fit the turbo muffler on the Golf GTI hose and replaces the OEM hose 5WA-145828F
- Hose #2036 will fit the turbo muffler on the Golf R hose and replaces the OEM hose
The Forge silicone hoses in this kit have been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Fluorosilicone.This means the hoses are suitable to be used with either modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) or air containing oil mist. The construction of the hoses has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments, and will enhance any engine bay both technically and aesthetically. The use of a Fluorosilicone liner ensures that Forge silicone hoses are the clear market leader.
