This bolt-on performance kit is 50-state emissions legal and produces an impressive 601 horsepower with 468 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels on pump gas. At the heart of this Edelbrock supercharger kit are the new high-efficiency Eaton R2650 Twin Vortices Series rotors featuring a four-lobe design with a 170-degree twist for maximum flow; minimum temperature rise and quiet operation. The R2650 TVS requires 18% less input power and uses larger bearings with thicker gears for increased durability and reliability. The inverted design of our system places the unit low in the F-150 engine valley; which allows runner length to be increased for more low-end torque. Contributing to the 68% power increase is a specially designed front drive with a short front-facing intake configuration that shortens the inlet path and completely eliminates the need for a power-robbing jackshaft found on other types of superchargers. And if you?re concerned about the effect on MPG; the increase in power comes with little to no loss in fuel economy thanks to the supercharger?s integrated bypass valve that mitigates parasitic power loss during normal driving.
