OVERVIEW
The DSE Speed Kit 1 is designed to lower the ride height of your 1967-1972 GM C10 truck by 5 to 6-inches in the rear. The Speed Kit 1 features lowering springs, lowering shocks, frame notch, and track bar/shock relocation for a complete rear lowering solution. Detroit Speed coil springs lower your truck by 5.5-inches while improving the ride quality and handling. Lowering shocks and relocation improve the shocks' ability to control the rear axle. The unique frame notch bracket provides the necessary clearance when lowering your truck and improves chassis rigidity. The adjustable track bar, featuring dual-axis pivot bushings, is relocated to improve stability and allow centering of the rear axle after lowering.

Features:

  • Fits 1967-1972 C10 with factory truck-arm/coil spring rear suspension
  • Kit includes lowering coil springs, drop shocks, frame notch, adjustable track bar, shock relocation, trailing arm bushings, U-bolts, and all installation hardware
  • Lowers the rear ride height by 5-6 inches for ideal stance and improved appearance
  • Custom wound coil springs improve the ride quality without sacrificing the hauling capacity of your truck
  • Bolt-on frame notch provides frame rail clearance when lowering the ride height - unique design improves frame rigidity at coil spring mounting points
  • The adjustable track bar features cross-axis pivot bushings and allows centering of the rear axle after lowering
  • Rear stability is improved by lengthening and leveling the track bar
  • Relocated track bar mounting provides multiple roll center adjustments
  • Relocated shock mounts improve shock control and provide additional exhaust clearance
  • Detroit tuned non-adjustable drop shocks offer excellent ride quality
  • Factory length U-bolts are electroplated for corrosion resistance
  • Replacement trailing arm bushings restore the performance of your factory trailing arms
  • 100% bolt-in installation – includes all hardware
  • Frame notch and track bar are the same as used with Detroit Speed QUADRALink – allows easier rear suspension upgrade to QUADRALink
