This means that we do not have the product in our warehouse. We only order “Special Order” products from the supplier when you order them from us. Generally, we do not intend to keep an inventory of these items.

The CTS Turbo Heat shield is a must have to prevent hood paint discoloration, scoop warping and under-hood heat damage caused by excessive turbocharger heat. It of course also adds a great under-hood finished look to your MINI.

Mounting to factory points with the supplied hardware, this metal plate helps reduce the amount of heat that gets by the factory shield.

Note: The Turbo Heat Shield does not completely encase the turbocharger, the turbocharger hot section is actually fully wrapped in its own, factory installed heat shield. The OEM heat shield is ineffective at preventing long term hood paint and hood scoop damage. Turbo Heat Shield is a secondary line of defense acting as an addition to the factory heat shield.
