NOTE 1: This kit is for later B5 S4's, as well as earlier Audi A6 models with steel uprights. Cars with aluminum uprights need 2 different lower control arms. You can easily verify if your car uses this kit if your suspension uprights are made out of steel.
NOTE 2: To ensure a long life for these control arms, when they are installed, it is IMPERATIVE that the suspension be compressed to static ride height before any suspension pivot bushings are tightened. If this is not done, bushings will tear as the twisting forces on them will be much higher than is intended. If you have any questions about this, please contact us to verify, if this is not done any warranty will be voided.
NOTE about VW Passat: All Passat's with VIN from 000000 - 072000 take part number have steel uprights, all Passat's with VIN from 072001 - end of B5/B5.5 have steel uprights but take aluminum upright style arms, please note when ordering and choose appropriately below. Does not fit C5 Allroad.
Please Note: We highly recommend using upgraded B5/B6/B7/C5 Audi Heavy Duty Tie Rod Ends when installing this kit.
