Motul is a French lubricant manufacturer with over 150 years of history and deep motorsport involvement — their 300V competition motor oil is trusted by Le Mans, Formula 1, and World Rally Championship teams, and their street lubricant lineup brings the same engineering quality to performance street vehicles. Motul 300V, 8100, and RBF brake fluid lines are widely recommended by European car specialists for modified VW/Audi, BMW, and Porsche applications. At MyPartsGuy.ca we carry the Motul lineup, all priced in Canadian dollars with no import fees or brokerage charges.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Motul RBF 600 and when do I need it?
Motul RBF 600 has a 312°C dry boiling point and 216°C wet boiling point — significantly higher than standard DOT 4 brake fluid. Under sustained hard braking on a track, standard fluid can boil in the caliper causing brake fade and pedal travel loss. RBF 600 delays brake fade onset substantially. For any Canadian track day use — particularly in heavier vehicles or with aggressive brake pads — RBF 600 or RBF 660 is the correct upgrade over standard DOT 4.
What is the difference between Motul 300V and 8100?
300V is Motul's ester-based full competition oil — designed for racing engines that are rebuilt frequently. Ester-based oils provide superior lubrication at extreme temperatures but may not be optimal for long street drain intervals. 8100 is their street synthetic — API and ACEA certified for street use, designed for modern engine emission systems. For street use, 8100 X-clean. For track cars and race engines, 300V.
