GSC Power Division is a California manufacturer of performance camshafts and valvetrain components specializing in Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru EJ/FA, and Nissan RB/SR platforms — their S1, S2, and S3 camshaft grinds are engineered for specific power and RPM targets on these JDM platforms. GSC is particularly well-known in the Evo and WRX/STI tuning communities for producing camshafts that maximize the potential of the 4B11T and EJ257 engines. At MyPartsGuy.ca we carry the GSC Power Division lineup, all priced in Canadian dollars with no import fees or brokerage charges.

Frequently Asked Questions
GSC S1 vs S2 vs S3 cams — what is the difference?
GSC's S1 grind targets midrange power improvement with minimal idle quality compromise — appropriate for aggressive street and track use. S2 increases lift and duration for higher RPM power at the cost of a rougher idle and higher valve spring requirements. S3 is a full competition grind — maximum power in the upper RPM range, not suitable for daily driving. For Canadian Evo X and WRX/STI builds targeting 400–500 whp, S2 is typically the sweet spot. S3 is for dedicated competition builds.
Do GSC cams require upgraded valve springs?
Yes — GSC performance camshafts require matched valve springs and retainers to control valve motion at higher lifts and RPMs. GSC packages their cams with recommended spring kits. Installing performance cams without upgraded springs risks valve float, which causes power loss and can result in catastrophic engine damage at high RPM.
