What stall speed converter do I need?
Stall speed should match the power band of your engine — specifically your torque peak RPM. An engine that makes peak torque at 4500 RPM benefits from a 3800–4200 rpm stall converter. Too low a stall with a cammy engine leaves power on the table; too high a stall in a street car creates heat and delay. FTI can recommend the appropriate stall for your specific combination.
What is a billet torque converter vs stock?
