What does a Power Commander do?
A Power Commander is an inline fuel management device that intercepts and modifies injector pulse width signals from the factory ECU — allowing fuel delivery to be increased or decreased at any RPM and throttle position. This corrects lean or rich conditions caused by aftermarket exhausts, air filters, or altitude changes without reflashing the factory ECU.
Does a Power Commander require a dyno tune?
Dynojet provides pre-loaded maps for common aftermarket exhaust and intake combinations — these provide a good starting point without a dyno session. For maximum accuracy and power, a custom dyno tune on a motorcycle dyno by an experienced Canadian tuner produces the best results.
