Idemitsu is a Japanese petroleum refiner and lubricant blender that supplies factory-fill fluids to several Japanese automakers. Its automotive range covers full synthetic engine oils in grades from 0W-16 through 5W-30, plus the Type TLS-LV, Type H, Type M and Type HP automatic transmission fluids and the CVTF line used in Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Mazda and Mitsubishi gearboxes.

The fluids are formulated to the OEM specifications rather than a generic multi-vehicle claim, which matters most on CVTs and modern low-viscosity engines where the wrong friction modifier package shows up as shudder or timing chain wear.
