HANS Performance Products makes head and neck restraint devices for motorsport. The HANS device is a moulded carbon or composite collar that sits on the driver's shoulders under the harness and tethers to the helmet, limiting how far the head can move forward in a frontal impact. The line covers several collar angles and sizes to match seating position, along with helmet anchor kits, sliding tethers, quick-release clips and replacement hardware. HANS restraints are homologated to SFI and FIA standards and are mandatory equipment in most road racing, circle track and drag racing series.
