Bowa supplies brake-system wear components for European vehicles, and the bulk of what is carried here is brake pad wear sensors. These are the small looped-wire or contact sensors that sit in a pad and ground out as friction material runs down, lighting the dash warning that tells a driver a brake job is due. Sensors are catalogued against original-equipment numbers so they plug into the existing harness without splicing.
