This upgrade replaces the OEM rubber bushings and replaces them with a combination of 6061 anodized aluminum inserts and Delrin sleeves for increased rigidity and longevity. Delrin is a resistant to most chemicals and self-lubricating, which is perfect for shifter bushings.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eEach kit utilizes a large spherical bearing to allow for 2-axis of movement and minimize wear while eliminating the chance of binding that other aftermarket options can cause. We designed the aluminum inserts in both bushings to feature machined index-grooves, which secures each bushing to the metal stud. Retaining a fixed position, like the factory bushings, was a key goal during development. This feature ensures that the bushing cannot prematurely wear from freely move around on the inner metal stud, unlike other aftermarket options. Our design also retains the factory approach of a multi-piece smaller bushing. This allows for all movement to be contained within Delrin sleeves, which drastically reduces wear.
