While functionally the renewed E39 M5 AMM's are identical to their successors, the re-released units are cosmetically different. The original release bore no branding for a stealth/OEM look whereas these feature the outlined Dinan logo that was popularized from the E39 540i AMM. This oft-requested adjustment should please most while also allowing the purists to be able to tell the difference between an original unit and the later release.
